The work behind the work.

Much of what our team has shipped operates behind the scenes inside large organizations. The work below highlights the initiatives we can share publicly, what our team owned, and how we brought each one through the complexity of enterprise delivery.

The challenge

Stride needed a parent-facing app that gave families real visibility into their student's K-12 remote learning experience: schedules, progress, communications — the things parents actually call the school about. The build had to ship inside the constraints that come with any organization at this scale: existing systems the app had to integrate with, internal stakeholders across multiple departments, a procurement and security review process that does not bend, and a release timeline that did not move.

What our team owned

Our team integrated directly into Stride's internal product and engineering structure. We provided the product leadership to clarify what "parent visibility" actually meant for the highest-priority use cases, the engineering capacity to build it on the timeline available, and the delivery support to keep the work moving through internal reviews and stakeholder approvals.

We were inside the standups, the sprint reviews, the security conversations, and the procurement back-and-forth. We did not run a parallel build. We carried the context.

What it took to ship it

The hard part was not the code. The hard part was getting the right decisions made fast enough, across product, design, engineering, security, and the internal teams whose systems the app had to talk to. Our team owned the coordination layer that made those decisions land, and the execution layer that turned them into shipped product.
